ECHO® Glassine is made from highly refined wood pulp and hardly any further additives (except in colored grades) and is one of the classic products of our company. Its high quality and purity are guaranteed by strict hygiene standards and adherence to food contact compliance regulations. Glassine is a product we are very proud of, offering characteristic features such as excellent transparency and high density achieved by supercalendering. Available in a wide range of colors and surface textures and conserving resources by being recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable.

Our range of electrical grade paper comprises foremost the classic capacitor tissue paper, a delicate, thin super-calendered paper with formidable properties for use as dielectric in paper capacitors and other devices. Machine-finished separator papers of various thicknesses and densities are used according to their insulating and absorbent features in aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Specialized other grades for cables, transformers and coils complete the production spectrum.
All are made from especially selected electrical grade pulp and purified, demineralized water originating from our own wells. We service the electrical industry world-wide with end-applications in household appliances, communication, power grid and automotive.
Our priority is to reduce the pressure of consumer products on world resources and to ensure the permanent use of our resources. In order to serve this purpose, we produce environmentally friendly products and design the technology we use in production in this direction. With the pride of being awarded the "Environment Award" in 1999, we produce our products so that they are suitable for multiple use and recyclable. Our dedication in this field is also expressed in the certification of the site according to the environment standard 14001 and the energy standard 50001. Likewise, our certifications according to FSC and PEFC confirm the sustainable sourcing of our main raw material wood pulp.
In this way, we have succeeded in significantly protecting our natural resources while increasing the quality and productivity of the service provided for both our world and our customers.
